Seun Kuti & Fela's Egypt 80 - Many Things (2008)

This blog takes it's name from the first track on this album so I thought it would be a fitting way to start. Fela Kuti's less famous son has just released his debut album and its a blinder. Seun has adopted his father's band and carried on where Fela left off. his lyrics aren't quite up to the standard of his father, but the music is, and his voice definitely is. Think Fela Kuti, but deeper, gruffer, and angrier. This is one of 2008's best.
